KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT I, John J. Worrell of the County of Adair, State of Missouri, in view of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do in the name and under the mercy of God, publish this as my last Will and Testament, that is to say, I will that after my death that the cost and expenses of my sickness and interment be first paid after which all my property, real, personal and mixed, and all judgments, bonds, notes, bills, chasis in action or other evidences of debt of whatsoever kind or description shall go to my beloved wife Elizabeth S. Worrell to have and to hold the same in fee simple absolutely without any condition whatsoever.
I will that she, the said Elizabeth Worrell, be the sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, and hereby empower her to so act without bond, giving into her hands full power and authority to settle up all my estate and pay all just debts if any exist at the time of my death.
While I hold in fond affection all my children, to wit: William R., John F., James R. and Thomas Worrell, my sons, and Mary E., Elizabeth W., Margaret S. and Phillis A. Worrell, my daughters, yet I will to each one of them the sum of one dollar ($1.00) only wishing my estate to go to my wife as aforesaid.
In testimony whereof, I, the said John J. Worrell, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of May, A. D. 1871.

We, James Ellison and G. C. Lyda hereby attest the above last Will and Testament of the said John J. Worrell and certify that he signed the same in our presence and that we believe him to be of sound and disposing mind and memory.
